About the role
We are looking for a hands-on and execution-driven B2B Growth Lead in the USA to build and lead Coachbetter’s sales efforts across the United States. This role will focus heavily on executing deals, building strong partnerships, and driving revenue growth in the US youth sports ecosystem. Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in strategically developing Coachbetter’s USA Go-To-Market strategy for the next years by leveraging existing customers, market presence, and partnerships. This is an operational role that requires both strategic thinking and execution excellence, ensuring Coachbetter captures significant market share in the US.
Responibilities
Strategic Development of GTM Strategy
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute a scalable Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the US Leverage Coachbetter’s existing customer base, partnerships, and market presence to identify new opportunities and create a clear roadmap for market expansion. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine the GTM strategy and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
Execute Sales Deals
Own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract signing, with a focus on operational excellence and deal execution. Negotiate and close deals with youth sports organizations, clubs, and state associations to meet revenue targets.
Build Strong Partnerships
Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers in youth sports organizations. Develop long-term partnerships with clubs, leagues, and associations to position Coachbetter as a trusted solution.
Drive Revenue Growth
Actively pursue opportunities to increase revenue through strategic sales initiatives and partnerships. Achieve and exceed sales targets through a relentless focus on execution and follow-through.
Operational Sales Execution
Manage day-to-day sales activities, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal tracking. Maintain a structured sales process and ensure accurate documentation in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).
Market Development in the US
Act as the primary point of contact for Coachbetter’s US market, representing the brand and building credibility. Identify and prioritize key market opportunities, focusing on high-potential partnerships and deals.
Customer Success & Retention
Partner with the customer success team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers. Build strong relationships to foster renewals and upsell opportunities.
Requirements
Strategic GTM Planning: Proven experience in developing and executing Go-To-Market strategies, particularly in a B2B SaaS or sports tech environment. Ability to analyze market opportunities and leverage existing customers and partnerships for scalable growth.
Hands-On Sales Execution: 5+ years of experience in a B2B sales role, ideally in SaaS, sports tech, or a related industry. Proven ability to execute on deals and close partnerships
Partnership Building: Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on creating long-term value for partners. Experience working with youth sports organizations, clubs, or associations is a strong plus.
Operational Focus: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of managing sales pipelines and executing contracts efficiently. Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce for deal tracking and performance measurement.
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the US youth soccer sports ecosystem, including its challenges and opportunities. A network within the soccer industry is highly desirable.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on role and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get the job done. A "closer" mentality, with relentless drive and focus on achieving tangible results.
