This role is pivotal in driving revenue, building strategic partnerships, and establishing a strong local presence. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on sales leader with a proven track record in B2B sales, expertise in HubSpot, and a passion for sports (especially football). You will be responsible for forming and executing on our go-to-market strategy, forging partnerships, and driving growth.
Responibilities
Market Expansion
Build and execute strategies to establish Coachbetter’s brand and presence in the US market, targeting football clubs, academies, and associations.
Sales Execution
Manage the full sales cycle using HubSpot, from prospecting to closing, ensuring alignment with Coachbetter’s business objectives and hitting aggressive sales targets.
Partnership Development
Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, including club executives, coaches, and sports associations, to build Coachbetter’s market presence.
Revenue Growth
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, drive upsell opportunities, and ensure the successful onboarding and growth of accounts.
Product Advocacy
Act as a product champion, clearly articulating Coachbetter’s unique value proposition and demonstrating how our platform meets the needs of US football organizations.
Collaboration and Feedback
Work closely with Coachbetter’s marketing, customer success, and product teams to tailor solutions for the US market and provide valuable feedback for product improvement.
Requirements
B2B Sales Expertise: 5+ years in B2B sales, with a strong focus on SaaS or sports tech. Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets and building lasting client relationships.
HubSpot Proficiency: Strong experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools, managing leads and tracking the sales process effectively.
Operational Mindset: True operator and executor who thrives in building markets from the ground up, forging new partnerships, and creating a local presence.
US Sports Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the US sports landscape, particularly football, and an ability to navigate its unique market dynamics.
Communication and Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for negotiation and an ability to convey complex ideas simply.
Growth-Oriented: Self-starter with a hands-on approach, able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for Sports: Genuine enthusiasm for sports, especially football, with a desire to make an impact in the coaching and player development space.
